Kifowit Honored with "Friend of Law Enforcement Award" by Polish American Police Association

Aurora, Ill - Illinois State Representative Stephanie Kifowit (D-Oswego) has been awarded the prestigious "Friend of Law Enforcement Award" by the Polish American Police Association (P.A.P.A.) in recognition of her unwavering commitment to and staunch support of law enforcement and their families. The award was presented to Representative Kifowit, who is of proud Polish heritage, at a ceremony over the weekend.

"I am deeply honored to receive the 'Friend of Law Enforcement Award' from the Polish American Police Association,” said Kifowit. “Law enforcement officers play an essential role in our communities, and their unwavering dedication to public safety deserves our utmost respect and support.”

The Polish American Police Association of Chicago and Illinois (P.A.P.A.) is a venerable social and fraternal organization, established in 1964, catering to Chicago Police Officers and their families of Polish and Slavic descent. 


P.A.P.A. warmly welcomes civilians from all walks of life who share strong ties to their heritage and/or law enforcement as Associate members, boasting a membership of over 400 active and associate members.P.A.P.A. provides financial and manpower support for various social service and professional organizations that provide services to the immigrant and Polish-American community.

“This recognition from P.A.P.A. is a testament to our shared commitment to upholding the rule of law and ensuring the safety and well-being of all residents,” added Kifowit. “I am truly humbled by this acknowledgment and remain steadfast in my advocacy for our law enforcement professionals and their families.”
