As the Chair of Personnel & Pensions Appropriations, I am committed to ensuring our state operates effectively and efficiently while protecting the interests of both current and future retirees. I also serve as Vice-Chairperson of the Illinois Veterans Affairs Committee, where I proudly support our service members and promote fiscal responsibility in state government. Additionally, I am a member of both the General Services Appropriations and Personnel & Pensions Committees.
In addition, I continue to push for a balanced budget this year. We achieved a bi-partisan, balanced budget last year by working together and I hope it continues this year as well.
